Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using a premium soy wax and carefully selected fragrance oils.

Yes. Our candles are hand-poured, with careful attention to the pouring, finishing, vessel, fragrance, and overall presentation.
Where are Petra & Sol candles made?
Petra & Sol was born in Guatemala, and our candles are now crafted in both Guatemala and Massachusetts as part of our small-batch process.
What makes your fragrances special?
We select fragrances with the goal of creating an atmosphere, not simply filling a room. Our collections explore different moods, seasons, memories, and personalities.
Candle Care & Safety
How do I get the best burn from my candle?
Follow the candle care and safety instructions provided in your Dust Cover. For the best experience, trim your wick to ¼” before every burn and allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during appropriate burn sessions.
How long should I burn my candle?
Most candles should burn for 2 to 4 hours per session, and you should never burn them for more than 4 hour at a time.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
When should I stop burning my candle?
Stop burning the candle when only a small amount of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Do not burn a candle all the way down to the vessel itself.
Can I leave my candle burning while I leave the room?
No. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable objects.

Can I reuse my Petra & Sol vessel?
Absolutely. We love giving our vessels a second life.
How do I clean my candle vessel?
01 — Let it cool
Allow the candle to cool completely before handling the vessel.
02 — Remove the remaining wax
Remove the remaining wax and wick using a hot water so it can melt and then cool to the top.
03 — Clean your vessel
Remove the remaining cool wax on top and then Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water.
04 — Dry thoroughly
Make sure the vessel is completely clean and dry.
05 — Give it a new purpose
Fill it with something you love and let its next chapter begin.
Please do not use a previously used candle vessel for food or beverages.
